Organizes the development of technical documentation for the operation of equipment, investigation of cases of unscheduled shutdowns of equipment and deviations from normal operation, develops measures aimed at eliminating similar cases. Coordinates operating instructions and monitors the timeliness of their revision. Organizes the development and approval of regulations on subdivisions of the nuclear power plant and job descriptions of subordinate personnel. Organizes work to ensure the training and maintenance of qualifications of NPP operational personnel. Organizes emergency and fire fighting drills. Carries out the organization of work on the protection of labor of subordinate personnel. Participates in the consideration of rationalization proposals, the development, implementation of safety measures, reducing the impact of ionizing radiation on personnel. Supervises observance of rules on labor protection, implementation of necessary measures for environmental protection. Provides management of work to study and improve the working conditions of NPP personnel, the introduction of advanced domestic and foreign experience in the operation of NPP equipment. Participates in work on attestation and certification of workplaces. Organizes work with the operational personnel of the NPP to form a safety culture, strengthen labor discipline, comply with the labor code, internal labor regulations; provides healthy and safe working conditions for subordinate personnel.

Must know: laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation that determine the directions for the development of nuclear energy; norms and rules for ensuring nuclear, radiation, industrial, fire, environmental safety during NPP operation and NPP operational documentation necessary for the performance of job duties; profile, specialization, production capacity and features of the structure of the AU; prospects for the technical development of the AU; design, features and technical characteristics of NPP equipment and technological systems; main technological schemes of the NPP; procedure for actions in case of accidents and fires at NPPs; basic rules for ensuring NPP operation; requirements for the organization of work with personnel at the NPP; regulation on the procedure for investigating and recording violations in the work of the NPP; regulation on organization of investigation of violations in NPP operation by the operating organization; process regulations for NPP operation; advanced domestic and foreign experience in the field of nuclear energy; fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management; fundamentals of labor legislation; internal labor regulations.

Qualification requirements. Higher professional education in the specialty "Power Engineering, Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering" and at least 8 years of experience in senior positions at the NPP, including positions not lower than the deputy head of the main technological department of the NPP or the head of the NPP shift for at least 4 years.
