Occupations of workers are developed in relation to the six-digit tariff scale. The categories of work are set according to their complexity, as a rule, without taking into account working conditions. In the description of works of the lower ranks individual professions, based on the conditions of production or the nature of the work performed, it is recorded that the performance of individual works is carried out under the guidance of a worker highly qualified. In such cases, workers of higher qualifications must be able to supervise workers of lower grades in the same profession and carry out this supervision.

In addition to the work provided for by the tariff and qualification characteristics, workers must also perform work related to the acceptance and delivery of shifts, the timely preparation for work of their workplace, equipment, tools, fixtures and their maintenance in the proper order, maintaining the established technical documentation, and should also know the types of marriage, the causes and ways to prevent it.

Checking the serviceability of machines, individual components and instrumentation. Establishment of the technological mode of washing clothes, depending on the degree of soiling, type of fabrics, color fastness of fabrics. Checking the consistency of washing, bleaching and starching solutions.
