Choice of profession. Artwork-reflection. All work is good. Reflections on choosing a profession My thoughts on choosing a profession

Choosing a future profession is one of the most important decisions in our life path. But it is quite difficult to choose a business that would really please, bring pleasure, corresponding to the character of a person and his desire. Some, after studying at a university for five or six years, eventually realize that they have not chosen the business that would make them happy and financially secure. Therefore, the choice of a future profession must be taken very, very seriously.

For example, after thinking about it for a long time, I have already made my choice and in the future decided to become a doctor. Probably, most girls from childhood wanted to become a doctor or a teacher, but these were childhood dreams, and over time, their views on life changed and dreams of becoming a doctor disappeared. But I decided to become a doctor once and for all.

The profession of a doctor is a very noble and responsible business, since the health and sometimes the lives of people depend on the doctor. People believe that the doctor will definitely help them in any case, and having received an injection or other help, they will definitely get better. But in order to be a really real doctor, you need to study well, because the result of my help will depend on how well I know what I have to do as a doctor. One pill or one wrong injection can destroy not only my future, but also people's faith in the help of doctors.

The profession of a doctor is very humane, for helping others is the work of a person with good intentions and a good soul. By choosing your future profession I will try to be that kind of person.

To become a good doctor, you need not only to have a sincere and open soul, but also to have a good knowledge of anatomy and biology - the basis of medicine. The foundation of this knowledge must be laid already at school, because in the lessons of biology and anatomy we take the first steps in getting acquainted with the structure and characteristics of living organisms, their functions and the significance of certain organs. This is what connects school items with real medical science.

The medical profession will serve not only others, but myself. If my family, friends, neighbors or friends get sick, I can always help them.

Medicine has always been a popular field of human activity, so it is no coincidence that competitions for admission to medical universities are traditionally high. This is the incentive that makes me want to study well.

What attracts people to this profession so much? In my opinion, the majority of doctors chose their profession not out of any selfish motives, but first of all, because of the desire to bring good to people. It is this motive that corresponds to the main essence of medicine - humanity, and a true doctor must at any time help sick people. But helping people is not so simple and easy. And I'm ready for high purpose to overcome difficulties and I am not afraid that in the future the routine of everyday work awaits me. I plan to become a real professional and be sure to enjoy my work.

Another reason why I chose the profession of a doctor as my future profession is the opportunity to reveal my talents and embody all my aspirations in my work. Each of us is naturally endowed with some kind of talent. Medicine is a craft, a science and an art. But if science can be learned, and a craft can be obtained through experience, then only a talented person can make medicine an art. In addition, I have a desire to try my hand and contribute to the fight against deadly diseases. After all, you can name many talented doctors who were able to defeat diseases and invent medicines for diseases that were previously considered incurable.

Many years ago I made my choice, and I still consider it the right one. The answer to the question "Who to be?" - for me existed already in early childhood. Even as a child, I played "teacher", seated dolls around me, spread out magazines, children's books. I made up stories, invented fairy tales, explained the rules to my puppet students. Much later, I had a girlfriend Tanya, who was a grateful listener of my mini lessons, plans, thoughts.

I was lucky in life: I had excellent teachers, excellent teachers, mentors at the Pedagogical Institute. My classmates and I loved and respected everyone and everyone in our own way. One can say about each teacher as a master of pedagogical work, as a real Teacher, Educator.

"Teacher! Before your name, let me humbly kneel! - these words of N.A. Nekrasov speaks in the best possible way about my teachers, about the role they played in my development as a teacher, in choosing a profession. No, not a profession, but a calling - to be a teacher.

How grateful I am for the wonderful lessons in literature to my teacher Valentina Nikolaevna: bright, emotional, deep! I respectfully remember the teacher of mathematics, the talented teacher Nina Mikheevna! Tactful, competent, talented teacher of physics and my class teacher - Nadezhda Petrovna! I, a student, have in my heart a bright and kind memory of people, of my teachers, who gave us a piece of their soul, the name of these people is Teacher.

The “wonderful school years” flew by quickly. Here is the graduation ball, I am on the verge of choosing a profession, an independent life. And there was no choice. It was a firm decision - I will be a teacher. But I could become a builder: my parents dreamed about it, they were against my choice to become a teacher. But no, she did not betray her cherished dream.

I made my choice - I am a teacher.

So from September 1, 1979, the countdown of my pedagogical work. Flipping through in my memory page after page of the book of my teacher's biography, I want to say that I have never regretted the chosen path. And there was a lot of good, and not very pleasant. Why didn't you regret it? Because I have always been firmly convinced that every person in life can only have one real thing. And my school teachers have always been an example for me.

The profession of a teacher is one of the most important in the world, I continue to think so until now. After all, this profession is not for everyone. Every day you have to face new challenges. How else? After all, each student is a person, an individuality that will never be repeated! Understand personal qualities, to determine the level of not only subject, but also life knowledge - this means opening the door to the world of each child, and only then determine the path that you will follow. Teaching is a wonderful profession, but I would say that it is not a profession, it is a vocation. Teachers are special people. Just think about the boundless, colossal responsibility that they, teachers, bear on their shoulders!

I am not a teacher, I am a teacher. I like being a teacher.
And now, after so many years, I am still at school, standing in the classroom, but no longer as a student. Thanks to my mentors, I realized that the profession should be connected with the upbringing of the younger generation. After all, the art of a teacher is to penetrate into the most distant galaxies of the children's world from the heights of his life wisdom, experience, to deeply and sensitively understand the children.

What does it mean to me to be a teacher? Being a teacher is not only an opportunity to teach something, but also an opportunity to communicate with children every day, discovering something new, interesting, and unknown. Children change, and I change with them. I like to look at the world through the eyes of children, find joy and satisfaction in it, think about my students, empathize with their successes and failures, bear responsibility for them, make decisions with them, help with advice, listen to their reasoning. After all, "teacher" is not a profession, not a social position, not a hobby, not a job - it's a vocation, it's life. For me, being a teacher is what it means to live. So I live - I've been a teacher for 35 years!

I love my students: inquisitive, inquisitive, doubting, asking questions. I teach children to listen and hear each other, to respect other people's opinions, even if it differs in many ways from their own. It is very important for me to educate children in a sensitive attitude to the joys and sorrows of people. I build communication with my students on trust, I try to win them over. I remember, I respect my students: talented, stubborn, restless, I teach children to empathize, respect people. Each person is unique and unrepeatable. Sometimes behind external inconspicuousness hides huge variety inclinations and opportunities. The task of the teacher is to see them.

Goodwill, optimism, respect, empathy - those qualities that a teacher simply must have. I am in constant search and adjustment of my own actions.

I've been lucky all my life good people: classmates, teachers, students, parents, colleagues. Thirty-five years connects me with the school.

Pupils, pupils, pupils... Each is given a piece of heart and soul, for each - fate, for each teacher's heart hurts. And the older you get, the more you understand your purpose both as a teacher and as a person.

REFLECTIONS ON THE PROFESSION OF TEACHER.

“The star of our wanderings, do not burn down.

We are looking, we are looking for a lost paradise ... "

Have we ever thought about how to define the profession of a teacher, what qualities a person who dares to devote himself to this noble lot should possess?

Let's see, compare, try to draw parallels, kindly discuss this topic.

In terms of the severity of labor, the profession of a teacher can probably be compared with the work of a miner, or a furnace worker. blast furnace because the upbringing of our children costs not only sweat, but also blood.

In terms of emotional stress, a teacher's working day is, perhaps, like a crazy day of the chief dispatcher of some heavily overloaded international airport in severe weather conditions (... now takeoff, then landing, now snow, then rain ...). But then again - such a dispatcher is armed to the teeth with the most sophisticated equipment that helps in his work, while the teacher can only rely on himself.

In terms of the accuracy of the approach to business, jewelry and individuality, the work of a teacher can be compared with the finest work of a neurosurgeon's scalpel: a small inaccuracy and it is no longer possible to correct the situation ... But the surgeon has the opportunity to simulate the situation hundreds of times, work it out to the smallest detail, and the soul of a child cannot be subjected to any modeling . The teacher thousands of times has to look for more and more new approaches, make strategic and tactical decisions with lightning speed, subtly select the keys to the minds and hearts of students.

High goals, although unattainable, are dearer to us than low goals, even if they are achieved.

The profession of a teacher, like no other, has absorbed sincerity and cordiality, because children simply will not accept a person who is not completely sincere, heartless.

How to determine the importance of the teaching profession? Most likely, as the most necessary, the most important, because everything starts with the teacher. A teacher is the person who must pass on to the new generation all the valuable accumulations of centuries and not pass on vices and prejudices.

The teacher is the arbiter of the fate of our children. How many Kulibins and Lomonosovs, Pushkins and Lermontovs brought up talent and wisdom, erudition and loyalty to the profession, nobility and, if you like, courage, authority and intelligence of a teacher

And how many Mendeleevs and Akhmatovs, Gagarins and Bulgakovs can fail from just one wrong word spoken by a teacher, maybe in a moment of despair ...

Therefore, the mission of a teacher on earth can be compared with the mission of Jesus Christ himself.

"Shine always, shine everywhere

Until the days of the last donets.

Shine! And no nails…”

So let's say a huge thank you and bow low to the teacher for his selfless work, his always willingness to do everything possible and impossible, for his noble aspirations and eternal burning of the soul, for true love and a disinterested heart. Let's just love, respect and always understand the TEACHER!

With the beginning of the school year, our dear ones. I wish you success and prosperity, good luck, happiness, love and patience!

"Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life." Confucius.

As a polite person, I’ll first introduce myself: Margarita Bakina, mother of three children, a psychologist by education (graduated from the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov), by current occupation – employee of Kaspersky Lab, head educational project Antivirus School, designed for students and schoolchildren. Now you know almost everything about me :)

Here, on the pages of the 11th grade newspaper, I would like to talk about one of the most important things in life - how to choose a profession. If the stated topic worries you, if you really want to know not who is to blame, but what to do then take a few minutes of your life to read this article. Who is with me? I start!

Every person has an age when the two most important questions come to the fore. One of them is love. The second, no less important, is the choice of profession. Advice from relatives and friends burst into our lives, reflections on the future, university assessments, career guidance tests, etc., etc.

I have been very lucky in my life. Almost by accident, I chose a specialty that has been extremely interesting to me for 20 years. My activities related to the career guidance and development of young people, and psychological education allow me to present a well-founded point of view on the task of choosing a profession.

In order not to be unfounded, I will involve my colleagues as co-authors of this reflection, who, like me, are the organizers of the strategically important educational project of Kaspersky Lab for schoolchildren and students - Anti-Virus School. Our division is unique: my like-minded colleagues have bright eyes, we come to work as if it were a holiday.

HOW DOES IT HAPPEN?

Let's "spy" on how young people determine the business of a lifetime. There are two vectors here - what the young man wants, and what the parents want. Unfortunately, these vectors are not always directed in the same direction.

The horizons of high school students, as a rule, are not yet wide enough. They choose "familiar" professions that were somehow represented in their lives: educator kindergarten, teacher, doctor. Romantic stereotypes give rise to the dream of becoming a pilot or astronaut. And, of course, the professions of parents are taken as a guide, who often themselves want their children to follow in their footsteps.

In addition, when young people are faced with the question of “who to be”, they remember their school grades. It is unlikely that a high school student with triples in geography will want to become the new Yermak or Bellingshausen. In addition to the school, there are additional classes (music, dance, art school, sports sections), which also affect the choice.

And, finally, by the graduating classes, the idea is fixed in the mind that it is necessary to decide on the university and, as a result, the future profession.

What are parents concerned about? The view of parents on the future profession of their child has been adjusted life experience. Everyone wants that, having matured, the child earns a piece of bread for himself, and even with butter, caviar and a glass of champagne to boot. Parents also dream that their children avoid stress and be able to maintain health for a long time.

And, finally, parents are concerned about whether they will be able to pay for the education of their children, whether they will pull up such a university, which, in fact, guarantees high paying and secure job. But all these factors must be linked with the personal preferences of your child, with his talents and tastes. Moreover, we are talking only about those talents that are known to the parent (a question for backfilling - how often can the older generation discern and understand the aspirations of their offspring?). There is another motive that is quite often woven into the reasoning of parents - their own unfulfilled ambitions: “Oh, I so wanted to be a ballerina! Let at least a daughter ... ".
This whole tangle of thoughts, in which both children and parents are confused, leads to a large number of different decisions, actions, investments of time and money.

The steps in this ladder leading to the pinnacle of success look something like this:

At school, “we have” abilities, for example, in mathematics and physics!

Conclusion: apparently, a techie.

In what profession can this be useful?

O! Maybe an engineer!

Where is this profession taught?

Seems to be the best at NNN High School!

How is the subsequent employment organized there / where can I get a job later?...

Thinking about the validity of such logic, I immediately have a lot of questions:

Who said that if the teacher praises, then it is in this subject that it makes sense to look for the future?

Who said that "five" in the eighth grade in physics means that it is in this science that a person has talent?

What should an excellent student do? Where to run?

How to decide - a techie or a humanist?

Does it mean that a C student is doomed to an unsecured life?

If mathematics, for example, did not bring joy at school, does this mean that it is not capable of becoming a favorite field of knowledge in the future? ..

And in general, each rung of this ladder seems to me a separate stage, and not a single road on the way to a successful future. I suggest going the other way. And start from the end.

RECIPE FOR A DELICIOUS AND HEALTHY LIFE

Step 1.
The first thing to realize is that you will work all life. Every day, for 8 hours (minimum) ... 40-50 years! Sit back, close your eyes and think about what activities YOU personally bring joy and pleasure right now, even if they last a long time? Personally, I can endlessly communicate with people! It makes me happy! I never get tired of this. In person, by phone, by e-mail, in ICQ, in in social networks etc.

What can you do indefinitely? WHAT PERSONALLY WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO EVERY DAY IN YOUR LIFE, if all our MUSTs/MUSTs were cancelled? Do you also interact with people? Solve complex problems? Looking at flowers? Unite chemical substances to get an unexpected effect? Answer questions - why does this person act in this way and not otherwise? Dig up information? Disassemble the bike? Fixing an old VCR? Listen to new music? Combing everyone who is ready to turn their heads to you? Coloring the soldiers? Invent new styles of clothing? ..

Yuri Sekin, 25 years old, former military man, Technical Specialist project "Anti-virus school - a new source ofIT-knowledge”, which solves all issues related to the site av- school. en:

“Choosing a profession is a very important decision in the life of every person. About a third of your life will be devoted to work. Now imagine that you will be doing something that you do not like or, even worse, disgust.

Every weekday you will get up with the thought “What a horror, back to work!”. It is important to understand that the work should be to your liking. Not for mom, not for dad, not for grandparents, but for YOU! Only in this case will you reach great heights and, as a result, the desired cash reward, and the next working day will not be negative. For me personally, the most important thing at work is the variety of tasks. It is interesting for me to come to work, because every new day brings something new. I wish you to find your true profession.”

Step 2
The second thing that it would be useful for each of us to do is to study ourselves and know what abilities and opportunities we have. To think, observe and make a list, in which it would be useful to include also what we want to learn. And then we will gradually begin to emerge the answer to the question - what I can? When we do what we do well, we are proud of ourselves, our self-esteem rises, each successive success allows us to rise to the next height. We WANT to do what we DO!

Step 3
Third - let's look around and find out in which profession our “I want” and “I can” can best be represented, we will talk with those who are already working in this specialty. And then we'll start looking for it. educational institution, which will give us the necessary formal knowledge, a professional environment for development!

Step 4
Fourth, almost the most important thing - let's tell about our thoughts, searches, desires and awareness to those people who are no less, and perhaps even more than ourselves, puzzled by our future - parents! I do not rule out that after talking in detail about this with your parents, you will become a single team and achieve the best result by combining your “I want”, “I can” with parental experience, opportunities and desire to make “the child happy”. By the way, do you know that most problems and suffering can be avoided by TALKING to each other?

Svetlana Gulua, an invaluable member of the Anti-Virus School team, it is thanks to Svetlana that the first part of the four-volume Explanatory Dictionary of Kaspersky Lab already exists, the author of which can be YOU:

The most important thing to understand and do in order not to miss the choice of profession isbe able to listen and understand yourself. For me personally, the most important thing in my work is smiling faces and technically pumped brains, “my little computer lovers”, to which we are directly related.

To go to work like a holiday, you need to do something that interests you and in which you are appreciated. If you choose the wrong business for yourself, work becomes a routine, the only advantage of which can only be earnings. It's never too late to realize your mistake and start over.

And now I would like to say in a few words that I often see examples when people abruptly change their path and ... get a new education, start new activity explore new areas of knowledge. Recently, meeting with adults, accomplished people, our classmates, we suddenly discovered that most of us want to learn something fundamentally new. For example, a candidate of psychological sciences is terribly eager to learn ... to program!

Stanislav Shevchenko, Head of Education at Kaspersky Lab three higher education: technical, managerial and psychological! He received each of them when the need for new knowledge arose. And this is our leader, inspirer, captain and friend, leading the whole team!

Communicating daily and hourly with high school students and students in our project, one of the goals of which is the selection and training of personnel for key positions to Kaspersky Lab, we do several, in our opinion, useful things at once:

We help the children to "know themselves";

We develop new qualities in project participants that facilitate the path to self-realization;

We get acquainted with the sorrows and joys of technical professions;

We create and maintain an environment in which there is an opportunity to grow a team of like-minded people, friends and experienced mentors;

We provide new technical knowledge in the field information technologies and computer security, protecting and strengthening the PC user in the Internet space;

. “leading by the hand” to the beginning of professional life…

We, as the organizers of the project, know that our work is necessary, important, successful, and this gives us new strength and opens up new opportunities for you! Feel free to find yourself and your path! See the world with wide eyes! Learn to talk about your needs and correctly defend things that are important to you! The main thing is to deliberately move forward into YOUR future! AND DON'T BE AFRAID OF MISTAKE! Even if you make a mistake, do not be afraid to make a decision and find a new business, new profession, a new space in which you will again find joy and sparkle in your eyes!

And I also have a request to all readers of the 11th grade newspaper - write to me about what you think on this issue. I hope we will have another opportunity to “talk” about important things and things that excite you. In order for our future materials to help solve life-defining tasks, we need contact with you: your questions, your suggestions, your feedback and wishes.

Children are often asked the traditional question: “what do you want to be when you grow up”? But at the age of five, you can afford both fantasy, and dreams, and grandiose plans - everything seems feasible, and there is more than enough time. At the age of sixteen, it suddenly turns out that everything was in childhood, many plans turned out to be unrealistic, and the choice is strictly regulated, limited, and even more - it is almost non-existent. But everything is not as sad as it is commonly thought in modern times. Let's try to dispel all possible myths about choosing a profession and build a more or less understandable selection algorithm.

“I am mediocrity, I have no abilities for anything”

In fact, there are no mediocrity, there are those who are not engaged in their own business. And if you do not want to join the ranks of those, first try to find some general guidelines. For example, are you a humanist or a techie? Or maybe natural sciences are closer to you? Or are you drawn to art? If you realize, for example, that you tend to humanities and at the same time you are interested in art - choose the widest possible subject of study - art history, philosophy, history. While you are studying and learning something new, your own niche will form, and you will either choose a narrow specialization, or move to another, more specific faculty, or subsequently receive a second education. And the first will definitely not be superfluous. The general culture has not bothered anyone yet, as well as the crust about graduation from the university. And life never stands still: even those who have long chosen a profession and work, still periodically change directions of work, learn something new, improve their skills. And sometimes in adjacent areas.

Is it worth thinking that the choice should be made once and for all? And that all your abilities are already revealed by the age of seventeen? Hardly. Rather, it is the wish of society, parents, those who, for one reason or another, would be comfortable with the predictability of your behavior, choice, and the linearity of your life process. But man is a creature that is constantly changing. And you do not have to forever be faithful to the choice that you make at a very young and still little conscious age.

"You can't make money with this"

The one who does his job with talent earns a lot. And for this you need one condition: you must love the work. If you don't love it, you will never rise above the average. And it doesn't matter what you do - draw layouts for book covers or sell office equipment. And even if you "just" repair shoes, the nature and result of your work will show whether you like it or not.

If you love what you do, you will always be provided. There are a lot of reasons for this - this is the quality of work, which, if you are interested, will increase several times compared to those who “just work”, and psychological comfort - after all, people who contact you will feel your love for work and will try to keep in touch with them. you, and efficiency, which in the case of your favorite business will always be high.

Money comes from the love of work, not its prestige or fashion. On the contrary, an unloved business, even if it is fashionable and prestigious, will drain you of strength, nerves, annoy, scare off your clientele, reduce quality ... And at the same time, we spend a third of our lives at work. Is it worth neglecting the love for the chosen profession?

"Too late"

Usually I heard such things from those who are sincerely passionate about sports, music or dance. Indeed, it is customary to start doing this from childhood. But not everything is so simple and unambiguous. Instead of reasoning, I will give examples from real life.

My classmate at the Faculty of Philosophy, in his third year, seriously became interested in martial arts. He began to study seriously, went to China for an internship and still makes a living doing just that, although he also completed graduate school. And you can't call him a bad coach. Another acquaintance of mine, having the profession of a lawyer in his hands, entered the music institute at the age of thirty. And now he is in great demand as a singer. And the profession of a lawyer will always give him a piece of bread in case of creative stagnation.

Each person in this world has his own niche, you just need to find it correctly. You don't have to be a winner international competitions or an Olympic champion, it is enough to find your audience, your contingent of "consumers". The recipe is simple: you have to do it. Do what you like, study what is interesting. And look for your circle in which your efforts will be in demand. And to what heights it will lead is only a matter of your talent and ability to work. If there is both, you will certainly find yourself in what seems to you now to be “missing”.

"I dont have an opportunity"

Suppose you are sincerely drawn to law. But here's the problem: you don't have "blat" and to pay for tuition at a commercial university. But that doesn't mean all is lost. You can approach the solution of this problem from the other end: you need to interest in yourself those who will help you learn: commercial structure or the state. And you can only be interested in work: in the police - if you rely more on the state, or in any law office - if there is no trust in the state. Either way, you'll start off with a 'hands-on' job, but if you show your wit, ability, and interest in your specialty, you can hope for a promotion that includes a student loan. Devoted cadres are always needed by any structure. And it does not mean "lifelong bondage." Often a training contract involves an employee working for a company for three years. It's not that much. Then, if you wish, you are free to change the company.

You should not break your character too much to meet the requirements of society: if you are not too sociable, then a profession that requires constant contact with a large number of people is not for you. And even if you strive for fame, remember: it comes regardless of the degree of your sociability.

The famous pianist Glenn Gould has repeatedly admitted to his isolation and lack of sociability. And he frankly did not like to speak in public. But fame and recognition caught up with him anyway - due to his talent and hard work.

Trying to fit yourself to some standard will only lead to neurosis, but not to success. Consider your inclinations and personal qualities - for example, “ringleaders” are not always and not everywhere needed. And if you are slow, but accurate, you can become an indispensable assistant to any leader. If you are an idea generator, then you should not expect that you will be able to successfully work your whole life under someone else's control: choose a creative profession in which you will build your own work schedule. Or learn something that will enable you to organize your business. If you have a stormy temperament - the work should be dynamic, it does not matter - it is physical dynamics, or mental. If you do not feel the pressure of energy in yourself, do not strive for responsible positions and work in which there is a lot of unpredictability: you will only exhaust yourself in vain. People with stable biorhythms should also listen to themselves: in our time, both larks and owls can find a suitable niche. And if you start to get sick from getting up at seven in the morning, you should think in advance what profession would provide you with the opportunity to live according to your own schedule.

In conclusion, I would like to say: in this world for each person there is a place. And the less you rely on generally accepted standards and patterns, the deeper you look into yourself, the more you trust yourself, the higher the chance of finding this place. Uncertainty and herd feelings have ruined many talents.

Naturally, while you are young, you will make mistakes. However, contrary to popular belief, no one has yet learned from the mistakes of others.

And doing them at twenty is much more natural and understandable than at forty. Search is the normal state of a young person. And do not be afraid to try yourself in different areas, gain experience and, based on it, decide which path to choose. Only in this way you will not regret your choice.
