There are so many problems in the photographic market, or rather, we have only one problem here - ranging from the low level of some professional photographers and the urgent need to establish the process of fundamental photography education, to the culture of copyright compliance by everyone involved in the use of the results of our work. It's time to debug the system of relations between photographers and customers. Today, neither the state nor the existing public organizations The problems of photographers are not taken seriously. I want to believe that the Russian Photo team will be able to budge a huge mossy boulder of problems that torment photographers, change the attitude towards photographers and photography in our country.
In my opinion, this is a great idea - to create a Club of Russian Photographers based on famous magazine"Russian photo". I cannot boast of any special acquaintance with this magazine, I cannot tell any success story associated with publication in it, I cannot tell about some special feelings that I experience when I join the project. It's a good idea to create a Club of Russian Photographers based on the well-known Russian Photo magazine. I started my acquaintance with the magazine a long time ago: I conducted master classes, tested photo equipment, published my photos and articles, the editors supported my photo tours with information, invited me as a jury - there was nothing.
Every year the magazine team offers us new opportunities. This is great! This year was no exception. The photographic world is changing very quickly and everyone who works or is just starting to get involved in photography needs help and support. I support this initiative and gladly join YOU!
Once upon a time, I had an acute question of accreditation. What I have not tried! traveled with letter of guarantee from the editors of the now-defunct Digital Photo magazine, used a laminated piece of paper from Nikon, and even became an official journalist for the Inform Birzha newspaper from Kazakhstan. Then I got a crust, becoming a member of the Union of Photographers of Russia, and many even envied me. But against the background of these acquisitions, it became more and more clear that these crusts do little to benefit. But I wanted support, some projects and, as they say now, movement. In general, I quickly realized that there was no movement there and ... abandoned this business. I abandoned it, and until recently I did not think at all about any unions and crusts, considering this topic to be completely unpromising.
It’s hard for me to say what influenced my decision to support the Russian Photo club and join it more: a personal acquaintance with Ekaterina Elizarova or a decent list of those who supported this topic, among whom I personally know several people and I can say with confidence that their opinion is worth listening to (Georgy Rozov, Pyotr Lovygin, Anton Martynov, Sergey Militsky and others). I got acquainted with the Russian Photo magazine in 2012. At the same time, in the May issue, an article was published about my then photo project Leningrad 2012, on which I worked together with stylist Katya Stul. About ten years ago, fate brought me to the magazine "Fotodelo". No, I read it before, but then I was offered. Many years have passed since then, but from time to time I continued to collaborate with my favorite magazine. Time, however, made adjustments, first the magazine changed its name and now we know it as "Russian Photo", and then, based on the dictates of the times, it became electronic.
Now the third period has come, a club of photographers has been formed on the basis of the magazine. The magazine decided to unite under its wing both old friends of photographers and those with whom photographers periodically communicate and intersect. The Club has just emerged, we are on the initial path of its life, and I hope that many interesting events and meetings await us in Our Club.
