At 19, Yulia Klyueva got married, at 22 she gave birth to a son, at 23 she opened her first business, at 25 she gave birth again - this time to twins. Now branches and franchises of its domestic recruitment agencies operate in seven cities of Russia, and the base of nannies, nurses and housekeepers has tens of thousands of carefully selected specialists. Yulia Klyueva, the founder of the Lady Mary agency, told the website about how to successfully develop a business as a mother of many children.

28 years old, entrepreneur from Barnaul, founder of the company. She graduated from the philological faculty of the Barnaul Pedagogical University. At the age of 23, she created the Lady Mary recruitment agency for domestic staff, which now has branches in Krasnodar, Sochi and Sevastopol, and agency franchises operate in Gorno-Altaisk, Novosibirsk and Simferopol. Julia is married, her husband works for a large energy company; There are three sons in the family: the eldest is six years old, and the younger twins are three years old.

In search of myself

Yulia Klyueva was born and raised in Barnaul. Mom is a teacher, father was engaged in entrepreneurship in the 90s, but then he left the business and went to work for hire. Julia did not think about entrepreneurship - she dreamed of becoming a journalist. I entered the philological faculty of the Pedagogical University (there was a cat crying at the journalism faculty of budget places, and Yulia did not want "to be dragged by my parents"), and immediately went to work in a newspaper. But it turned out to be the newspaper "Life".

“At first it was interesting. I wrote about the stars who came to Barnaul. But the management demanded to write about who drank where, who was noticed with whom, who got into a scandal, etc. Morally, it was hard, so I had enough for a while. This kind of journalism is not for me,” Yulia says.

Later, she decided that she would go to school - she would work as a teacher. But she went to pedagogical practice and realized that the school was not hers either. However, life is also a school. The main thing in it is to learn lessons.

“I worked as a bowling alley administrator and my boss said to me: “If you were smarter than me, then I would work for you.” That's when I thought: “Well, I'm smarter than you! Why then am I working for you?” I began to understand that I did not want to work for hire. At the same time, there was no such thing as “I want to be an entrepreneur!”. But I liked it when people take responsibility. When a person can decide something, he can provide decent work for other people. This is what I liked about business,” says Yulia.

Your own manager

At 19, she got married. Her husband is a power engineer, works in a large reputable company. She graduated from high school, went on maternity leave, at 22 she gave birth to a son, Cyril. It turned out that Cyril gave her a business idea.

There was another event that pushed Julia to her own business. “Once I met my friend, the director of the Alpha business school, she said that the company had won a tender for training, and suggested: “Come to us, you will pass the test.” I think - why not? Came. Answered a hundred questions to identify entrepreneurial abilities. And suddenly it turned out that I have a high score!” Julia recalls.

They taught at a business school for free - it's a sin to refuse. Young and promising recruited two groups of twenty people. In the evenings and on Sundays we studied accounting, psychology, jurisprudence, met with acting entrepreneurs. The training lasted for about a year. At the end, a business plan had to be written and defended. By this time, the idea with which Yulia came to business school - selling sports goods on a franchise - no longer seemed interesting to her. But there were no other ideas.

“I really wanted to open my own business. But I didn't have an idea. And I needed to understand who my child would stay with. My son is less than a year old, while I was in business school in the classroom, my husband stayed with him. We have grandparents, they are all very good, but I can’t put my grandmother and grandson from 8 to 18 and deprive her of any personal life, ”says Yulia.

“I started looking for a nanny. What agencies provided me did not satisfy me. The girls came incompetent, I understood that the person at the interview was lying to me. No one had certificates, even elementary ones - from a narcologist, a psychiatrist, fluorography, blood. But you go to the child! Why do teachers at school or educators in kindergarten take tests, but nannies do not?! I also looked for a nanny through Internet resources - the situation turned out to be even worse there. I began to understand that this niche in Barnaul had not been worked out. And in the end I wrote a business plan for launching such an agency.”

“After graduating from the business school, we were all sent to the employment center for employment. A specialist girl asks: “Will you go to vacancies?” I answer: “I have a business plan, they will give money for it or not, I will open it anyway.” We worked great with her. I received a subsidy for starting a business - 60 thousand rubles. I bought a computer with them, some furniture, paid the rent for an office - tiny, seven or eight square meters.

“I was alone - my own manager, in principle - I had to understand how everything works. Gave an ad. At that time, I already had about twenty employees. And I hired them all very quickly. It turned out that the need is great. In the first month I earned about 60 thousand. We can say that it paid off the investment, ”says Yulia.

By the way, at the same time she resolved the issue with a nanny for her son - she hired a woman who literally raised Kirill until the moment he went to Kindergarten.

"It's a very tough business"

Life immediately began to make adjustments to the business model - it turned out that in Barnaul there is a demand not only for nannies, but in large numbers, nurses are also needed!

“When I opened the agency, I thought that the main demand would be for nannies and housekeepers, and nurses are just for assortment. But, unfortunately, a lot of nurses are needed. At least three requests per week for nurses for seriously ill people. Here was a man more or less healthy - and then fell ill. Social workers come only twice a week to wash the floor, even if a person has a disability and is lying down. That's why they hire a babysitter. And now we have a lot of nurses,” says Yulia.

She hired her first manager six months later - when she realized that she could not cope alone. For six years, the staff of "Lady Mary" has not grown much: in the office of the agency in Barnaul - Yulia Klyueva herself and three managers. Accountant, security service (it happens that candidates under the guise of a former employer give a girlfriend's phone number or do some other trick), Internet promotion - under contracts. If we talk about domestic staff, then in Barnaul the agency cooperates with nannies (745 in the base, 412 of them work), nurses (365 in the base, 290 work), housekeepers (398 in the base, 210 work), drivers (42 in the base, 7 work). All of them work under a patent, which costs 5-7 thousand rubles per year.

Legally, the company of Yulia Klyueva is a company with limited liability, such legal form allows you to open branches and sell franchises. “Many recruitment agencies are opening. Everyone thinks it's easy. And this is a very difficult business. And as a result of normal agencies in each big city Enough to count the fingers of one hand. There are three major recruitment agencies in Barnaul. We have a common black list of nannies and housekeepers. We meet once a year. I believe that we are market leaders.”

“Both in Moscow and in the regions, the best agencies are run by women. It happens that the agency is bought by men, but it is still a women's business - and they put women in charge of it. This is how a woman will come and tell a man what to do with her house, things, linen? These are intimate things. As far as I know, only in Rostov a man has been running the agency, himself, for seven years now, ”says Yulia Klyueva.

Not every mom can be a nanny

Nannies, nurses, drivers, gardeners come to "Lady Mary" as a recruitment agency. To get into the database of the agency, they must provide a certain set of documents and certificates, pass psychological test. After that, they are already invited for interviews with clients.

If the client and the employee match, the agency receives its commission: the client pays 25 percent of the contract amount, the employee pays a percentage of the first salary. The contract can be for a month, for three months, for half a year, for a year. According to Yulia, now most often they conclude a contract for a year.

If the contract is extended, the agency again receives its percentage. The client pays the nanny's salary. Minimum fee for an hour of babysitting - one hundred rubles.

The average salary of nannies employed through "Lady Mary" is about 25 thousand rubles, nurses - about 20 thousand, drivers - from 20 thousand

“There are more,” Yulia says. - For example, an application was received for a nanny with knowledge of English, Italian and Spanish (the family often travels abroad), the schedule is from eight in the morning to six in the evening, five days work week. Salary - 50 thousand rubles a month. For Barnaul, this is very, very good. And we found such a nanny, we have such people.

"Our personnel reserve These are schools, kindergartens, including private ones. In Barnaul, for a salary of 50 thousand rubles, you can pull out a person almost anywhere. There are people who need a certain income, and I know that they will leave me if I have a decent offer, ”Julia explains.

In the mass consciousness, any woman who raised a child herself can be a nanny - she probably knows what and how. But the mass consciousness is wrong. “Those who say: “I raised two of my own, and I can handle strangers!”, We do not take. Having your own child is one thing, being able to get along with someone else's child is quite another,” says the head of Lady Mary.

Through analysis and experience, the agency calculated a close-to-ideal image of the nanny. “The vast majority of our nannies are women in their thirties. And this is not a whim. If the nanny is younger, then these are always small children, and she will head there with her children. If there are no children, then she will arrange her personal life all the time - again, not before work. Therefore, we work with women who have an established marital status. Yes, we have unmarried nannies. There are those who are 25 years old. It happens that clients ask for a young nanny - someone's child is drawn to the young. But these are still girls with work experience, with a pedagogical education, and without their children.

Two more fundamental requirements from "Lady Mary": either a great experience as a nanny, or a pedagogical education with work experience in a kindergarten; so that a woman understands what it is to work with children.

Who orders babysitting

To paraphrase an old poem, we can say: “All sorts of nannies are needed, all sorts of nannies are important!” There are families who ask for a gentle and kind nanny for their children. But more often - strict. The agency is called “Lady Mary” for a reason – surprisingly, the image of the strict Mary Poppins, who taught not only children, but the whole family to follow the string, is very much in demand.

“Many people ask for such nannies. Because if there are boys in the family, then it must be Mary Poppins. Or, for example, there are three boys in the family, and if they are also of good age, then they need a strict nanny, definitely, ”says Yulia Klyueva.

But maybe a man with a mustachioed nanny would have coped better with three boys? “I am sure that a woman will do better with children, even with three. It will be worse for a man. It is easier for a man to physically influence, but this is impossible. In addition, if the employer is a nursing mother, how will she tell a man some subtleties? So far, no one has asked for a male nanny. Tutors, mentors for relatively adult children - in Moscow this is quite developed in wealthy families, among the stars. But so far this is not for Barnaul, ”Yulia is convinced.

The agency's clientele is mainly representatives of the middle class and above. Someone needs to work, someone does not want to fall out of society. “Tomorrow a client will come - their child was born ten days ago, and she is already with a nanny, she does not want to sit at home. Like Ksenia Sobchak - we have so many mothers doing this.

Interestingly, the economic crises have almost no effect on the "Lady Mary". Only in the first two months of 2015 there was a decline in applications, but even then the agency did not go into negative territory. “And in March they didn’t give vouchers to kindergartens - and everyone went for nannies,” Yulia recalls.

The agency promotes its services through its own website, seo tools and Yandex.Direct are actively used. Of the social networks, only Odnoklassniki is involved - as Yulia Klyueva says: "Our people are there." And, of course, word of mouth.

Share of healthy idealism

According to Julia, in this business it is very important human relation to the client. “Yesterday I got a call from a client we've been working with for two years. He has elderly parents here and he is in London. It is impossible to transport them. We started working together when they were still walking - we hired live-in caregivers for them, then they fell ill, and we took care of them, and so on until the end. They were under 90 years old. He called and said, "I don't know what I would do without you." Until the last minutes, his parents had care, they were loved, protected. This is important. The fact that he brought us a certain amount of money is also, of course, important. But the human touch outweighs. If we didn't treat our customers like this, we wouldn't have earned anything,” says the owner of Lady Mary.

Julia generally believes that in successful business a share of healthy idealism is indispensable. “Yes, the financial issue is important. But it shouldn't come first. Initially, you should be interested in the job. If there is no pleasure from work, if you only count money and wait for the working day to end, then this is the psychology of an employee. You need to understand what you want, for whom you do it, for what. You have to understand that you are helping people. Only then can you earn. For me, mission comes first. The share of healthy idealism in business should be. Once you prioritize making money, everything falls apart.”

“I really love it when clients thank us, when staff thanks me, when nannies bring chocolates to my managers and say: “Girls, thank you so much, I now have such a great job!” From this you get a buzz - from the fact that you have done well for people.

However, in order to be “good”, someone has to do badly. “I always parted with everyone normally,” says Yulia. - But once she fired the manager unpleasantly, with a scandal. They announced a tender for the provision of nurses for a large amount - only we were supposed to receive a million from this tender. She was engaged in this tender - and simply did not go to the last procedure. And then she disappeared for another ten days. I arranged my personal life - what kind of tenders are there. They began to figure it out - she believed that she was right in everything, blamed other managers. I didn’t fire her under the article, I just gave her a job. This is also my fault as a leader. Didn't control. But I was in control until a certain moment, then she says: “I understood everything.” If I continue to control, then why do I need a manager? ”, - says Yulia.

In another situation, the client demanded a refund of the advance payment. “She offered the nanny to work without a contract so as not to pay us a percentage. Nanny refused and left. Then the client demanded to give her an advance payment. I said: "Through the court." The money was small, the contract was not signed, so we had no chance. But she had to run after that money... I can be gentle man. I won't go over my head. You just have to live according to your conscience. Everything will return. But it is necessary to punish, for misconduct and deeds that I consider unfair.

Roots and crown

A successful business must grow. And for "Lady Mary" one day it was time to go beyond Barnaul. “In 2012, people came in and said, ‘Sell us a franchise. And we haven't had it yet. But if there is a demand, then we got everything done pretty quickly, in two months - and in 2013 we sold the first franchise to Gorno-Altaisk. Then we opened a branch. I immediately understood that there would be more work with the branch, but I wanted it. This is probably purely female logic. I saw how much my franchisees earn.”

“A branch is everything from scratch, in a foreign city ... I had to fly a lot, for me the plane was like a taxi, I lived on planes. We opened a branch, then sold the franchise again, then opened a branch again. Now we have three branches around the country, three sold franchises and one more is in the process of registration.

The cost of the franchise from "Lady Mary" is 100 thousand rubles plus royalties, the amount of which depends on the city: the larger the city, the higher the royalties

“Our franchise is one of the most inexpensive. Because I do not have a goal to make money on a franchise, I have a goal to scale. Under a franchise, a person receives documents, programs and a website. We give all the tools, we constantly advise. But even with such support, not everyone can work. The problem is both in the entrepreneurial qualities of the leader, and in the fact that in our business there are people from all sides: father, mother, child, nanny ... A nanny may not get along with a child, with a mother, with a grandmother ... You can’t automate anything here. Everyone has a different time frame for making a profit: someone comes out in the first month, someone cannot even in three months, ”says Yulia.

As a tree grows not only with a crown, but also with roots, so Yulia Klyueva's business grew not only in breadth, but also in depth. After all, a lot of people need qualified care and supervision.

“From the very beginning, parents of children with cerebral palsy, with Down syndrome, visually impaired children turned to us. For classes with them - for the development of motor skills, tactile sensations, for teaching the visually impaired - special equipment is needed. This is how the Social Respite project was born, for the implementation of which in 2015 we received a grant of 300 thousand rubles. We bought with this money an electronic hand-held video magnifier "Vizor", with the help of which visually impaired children will be able to read electronic books, kit teaching materials"Sensorika", a special correctional keyboard for children with impaired motor skills.

“Our other direction is Line of Life, GPS trackers that allow you to track where a person is. The software developed by our order determines the location of a person with an accuracy of ten meters. Such trackers are bought by children to their parents, who can leave home and forget how to return. Parents buy for their children - just in case, because people are now very afraid for their children. There is a button on the tracker emergency call”, - explains Yulia Klyueva.

Know the limits

Three years ago, twins were born in the Klyuev family - Danil and Denis. When asked how pregnancy was combined with business, Yulia replies: “Easy!”

“I worked until the very end. And when I gave birth, I asked the doctors to discharge me from the maternity hospital early - I had to be at the meeting following the results of the Altai - Growth Points forum. I was released from the hospital a day earlier, ”Julia laughs.

The only “weakness” that our heroine allowed and allows herself is rest at sea. “When we got married, my husband took me to Sochi. And when I started a business, I dreamed that I would go to the sea every two or three months. The first thing I did, as soon as finances allowed, immediately flew to swim and sunbathe! And then constantly flew to the sea. Now, however, less often, but still, we visit twice a year.”

However, for a year now, Julia has been setting priorities a little differently and freeing up time not only for the sea once every six months. “I came up with a business in order to be free. And then it turned out that not business for me, but I for business. I want to see my husband, go on vacation with him. For me, family comes first. I want my children to see me. I want to go to the elder to see his karate performances. I want to do something at home myself - this is my home. First of all, I am a woman, ”says Yulia.

As a result of partial optimization, the Life Line project was outsourced, and Yulia decided to focus only on Lady Mary, of which Social Respite is also a part.

"Chief Mary Poppins of Barnaul" says that it does not plan any new projects yet. Now she devotes more time to her family, herself (lost 24 kilograms), yoga. Although it is recognized that business is still in the head. “Physically, I’m at work until five or six in the evening. And the head - around the clock. I even dream about work.”

This topic, I think, is of interest to all people who have small children who cannot be left alone for a while (at home or on the street). Especially when there are more than one children. I personally still face a similar problem and it would always be easier for me to pay money than to get out alone.

Of course, you can send your children to a nursery or kindergarten, and not worry about them. But not all adults do this (the reasons are very different), and even those who gave their children to government grubs sometimes have to stay at home with them (when a child gets sick, the kindergarten is closed for repairs, quarantine, the water is turned off or some other disaster).

But how do you lead a fulfilling life? Of course, you can still take children with you to the store (although in bad weather there are various difficulties in the form of wet clothes or the need to carry several umbrellas with you plus shopping bags), but if you need to go to the hairdresser (and this is at least an hour) or to the dentist (there is nothing for children to do there at all), or to the tax to the inspector, to the bank (several years ago, every week I had to drag myself through the whole city to a commercial bank, leave the child in the bank lobby on the first floor, and run to the third floor and stand in line among those who wanted to give my payment)? Poor children, if you have to carry them with you to all these institutions!!!

How much easier it would be not to drag the children with you to all sorts of places, but simply call the "Nanny on Call" company and invite the nanny to sit with the child for 1-2 hours, at a certain time, moreover, today, now, so that she can come within 10 minutes as a taxi. Indeed, sometimes it is impossible to plan a difficult situation in advance.

The nanny arrives within 10, well, maximum 30 minutes. With a child, she can sit on the street or at home, depending on where she finds you (or where circumstances caught you). Moreover, the nanny does not need talents to cook delicious porridge, wash baby diapers or do mathematics with the child. Only one thing is required of her: to occupy the child so that he is not bored while waiting for mommy (or daddy): read a book, draw, build Easter cakes in the sandbox, etc.

Probably, there are specialized firms that supply nannies and governesses to families, but they basically employ them for a longer period (from a month or more). Our company would specialize in the urgent delivery of a nanny to short term(from one hour to several hours).

Babysitters can be recruited from among pensioners, young girls who have not yet found work, mature women who have already lost their jobs - there are a lot of such people. Create a database from them (with addresses and phone numbers). To hire a neat pensioner on a home phone who would simultaneously act as a dispatcher - forward to the client's address the nanny who is closest to the client by location.

If the legislation requires, then the office, of course, will need to be rented, and contracts with nannies will be concluded, and it will be necessary to conclude short-term contracts with clients - after all, they trust the children's company. But these are surmountable difficulties. The main thing is that demand exists, which means that it can (and should) be satisfied.

Children are the flowers of life, and they need constant care and attention. But parents can not always devote themselves entirely to their kids. Hence, the demand for services related to the upbringing of children during the absence of their immediate guardians is born. In this regard, it makes sense to consider a business idea for the provision of babysitting services.

The necessary conditions

To implement this idea, it is necessary, first of all, professional education. Parents will trust their child only to such a person who will convince them of his qualifications. As a rule, babysitting services at home can be performed by people who have received a pedagogical education and have experience in relevant institutions, for example, in. It is worth noting that there are courses on teaching parenting, at the end of which certificates are issued, which can also be used as evidence of one's competence.

In addition to special education, the nanny must provide information about work experience in this area. Such experience is usually reinforced by letters of recommendation from parents.

Often, happy to devote themselves to caring for other babies as a nanny, successful mothers who have raised several of their children.

Service delivery options

The babysitting business can be run in two ways: as a home caregiver or as a babysitter. Both of these options have their pros and cons. The first requires more global initial investments, but is not accompanied by high costs in the process of further activities. The second, on the contrary, requires minimal investment, but includes an additional expense item related to trips to clients.

Initial investment in babysitting business

To bring such an idea to life will require a number of investments. To provide services at home, it is necessary to have a room in which the child will spend time. It can be a separate room or an entire apartment. It is important that in addition to game room, there was a kitchen in the room to provide the child with food. The best option would be to place the pupils in one of the rooms where you can play, work out and organize lunch break. The equipment of such a room can cost from 10 to 50 thousand rubles.

Children of different ages will need different games and educational programs which should be available to the practicing nanny. Such items may be left over from their children, otherwise they must be purchased at. The cost of their acquisition can vary from 5 to 20 thousand rubles.

When leaving home, the nanny will have to spend money on a trip to their destination and on their return at the end of the provision of services. Often you have to return at a later time, so you should think about personal transport or a taxi. Travel expenses are included in the cost of the service and negotiated with the customer in advance.

You also need to think about attracting customers. In addition to traditional methods - newspaper ads and word of mouth, you can search for them using the Internet. There are sites where you can post ads for babysitting services for free. Also, you can find those who want to use your services through the distribution business cards in kindergartens, schools and educational circles.

Income

The cost of an hour of babysitting services varies depending on the region and the complex of activities performed. On average, this figure ranges from 100 to 500 rubles per hour. Thus, the total amount can vary within a fairly wide range, depending on the workload and the level of payment, but, as practice shows, in big cities, a nanny whose services are in demand can count on monthly income about 40 thousand rubles. In the case of work in the evening or on weekends, the cost of work increases.

Working with children causes positive emotions for many people, but you can get even more pleasure from it if you get good pay. These two aspects are easy to combine when organizing own business for babysitting services. This idea will allow many to receive a decent reward for doing what they love.
