Demanded specialists in the labor market. On the labor market in the Russian Federation and in-demand professions. Educational workers

It is difficult to characterize the modern economy without such an essential component as the labor market, which is its original basis. The significance of this mechanism is difficult to underestimate, since the vast majority of people receive income through the sale of their labor, regardless of the country.

Therefore, knowledge of not only the essence, but also the conditions for the functioning of the labor market is becoming important for every person today.

Labor market: essence and features

It should be noted that the labor market has not one definition, but several. But if we generalize them, we can say that the labor market is a market where labor is exchanged for wages. It can also be described as the place where a job seeker usually meets with an employer who, in turn, is looking for an employee to conclude an employment contract.

Compared to other markets, the labor market has distinctive features:

Main types of labor market

Being a complex phenomenon, the labor market today is represented by several models, and several bases are used to distinguish its types. For example, the foreign market is separated from the domestic market on the basis of professional criteria. The fact is that the first type unites workers in the profession, or whose qualifications can be used not by one, but by several firms. In the second case, that is, in the domestic market, the movement of personnel occurs within the enterprise, which, among other things, does not exclude the possibility of obtaining a higher position. Naturally, the external market is more mobile than the internal one.

You can also talk about the labor market of individual professions, which distinguishes between highly professional workers and those whose work is of a physical nature. The former are a minority, while having stable employment. Autonomous position have employees of professions, which are in excess on the labor market. And, of course, the emergence of an international labor market is a regularity.

Structural changes in the labor market

The labor market, as well as its structure, is undergoing constant changes. Not so long ago, a flexible labor market has become widespread. Its appearance can be explained by the reaction of the market to the restructuring of the economy, primarily in developed countries, where the production sector has lost its leading position to the service sector. And in the service sector, an effective result can be obtained through flexible forms of employment.

The situation is such that industrial production is growing slowly, and Russia is no exception in this respect. The mining and processing industries were especially hard hit. Meanwhile, it is this sector that includes 1/5 of all vacancies. The share of companies that intend to cut staff is the highest here and amounts to 31.6%. Naturally, this is a strong blow for the labor market.

In such circumstances, other areas were in a more advantageous position. Among them, trade, logistics, transport, food and, of course, construction should be noted. All of the above suggests that there is a constant adaptation of the labor market under the influence of economic restructuring.

In general, it was found that Russians change jobs more often than Europeans, but this has a positive effect on the economy. The peculiarity of the local labor market is its flexibility. By flowing into more attractive sectors of the economy, the labor force revitalizes it. So, in the transport sector, it will not be difficult to find work primarily for drivers, car mechanics, as well as car washers. The construction sector remains the most stable, and welders and electricians do not have to worry about being left without work.

The logistics sector is distinguished by the fact that today applicants here do not face competition at all. In addition, despite the demand for such specialists, they are not required to have higher education. We are talking about the professions of a storekeeper, a loader, a driver, a forwarding driver and a picker. The field of food in terms of recruitment can be confidently called scarce. Therefore, we can safely say that even in crisis conditions, the demand for cooks, bartenders and waiters will continue.

Thus, the demand for technical specialists, engineers and even workers, but always highly qualified, in the labor market will remain unchanged. Sales managers will be in an advantageous position, the demand for which will continue to grow. The fact is that companies assign them a major role in increasing sales. The positive dynamics of demand remains in the IT industry, where today many specialties are in short supply. First of all, these are operators, programmers and sales consultants. This means that employees who are able to produce a quality product or service and subsequently effectively promote it will remain in demand. They will become the objects of the “struggle for talents”, and, therefore, they can count on wage growth.

Predictions: wages and unemployment

According to the forecast proposed by the international consulting company Hay Group regarding salaries in Russia, there will be a slowdown in their growth. As a result, the dynamics of salaries will be equal to inflationary indicators, which amount to 7.8%. However, in the commercial sector, this figure will be several percent higher. So, we should expect a reduction in the income of employees.

In this regard, the trend that was clearly marked in the past year will continue to develop. Companies will motivate employees with an attractive bonus part of the remuneration, which depends on the performance of employees, as well as the success of the company itself. The main part of the remuneration is fixed and will increase less compared to the previous year – by 7.8%.

Stagnation cannot but affect the labor market, in particular, the demand for labor force, the decline in demand for which over the past year amounted to about 10%. This is much less than in Europe. This unemployment rate is projected for the current year as well. Although some sources report a lower unemployment rate of 6%. The latter statement is questionable, as 25% of major employers promise to reduce hiring and another 5% to cut staff altogether.

Large sports and infrastructure projects are very useful for the labor market. And it is known that the Olympics will take place in the first quarter of the year, after which preparations will follow for another large-scale event - the football championship. Also, jobs will arise due to the implementation of the announced projects in the development of road and, consequently, transport infrastructures.

WTO and labor market

The labor market and the structure of employment on it are subject to analysis. To give a forecast, professionals proceed from the following factors. First of all, the foreign policy and economic situation in Russia itself is taken into account. Further, the state of demographic problems, as well as issues related to labor migration, are taken into account. Technologies, through which the selection and subsequent training of personnel take place, have an increasing influence in this matter.

Accession to the WTO could not but affect the labor market. At the end of the year, the results are mixed and there are problems that need to be addressed. On the one hand, foreign markets have become more accessible to companies, which is conducive to job creation. There was a need to change the personnel policy and the very structure of personnel. This phenomenon should be classified as positive, as companies thereby increase their competitiveness and master new technologies.

On the other hand, there are reductions in personnel or social programs, which, according to companies, are caused by accession to the WTO. The issue of personnel qualification has become more relevant, as the requirements for it have become tougher. All this confirms that the labor market will need only highly qualified workers.

Solution of problems

The Russian labor market and its peculiarities require the development of one's own solution to problems. A reduction in employment can negatively affect the structure of jobs and cause degradation of human potential. We are talking about industries where high quality labor is required, as the coverage of the labor market by trade and intermediary activities is increasing.

To regulate the demand for labor, active measures are needed, which involve significant financial costs, and therefore can be applied partially. These include, for example, the payment of subsidies to those enterprises that provide work for the long-term unemployed. Among other active measures, the rational use of flexible forms of employment is of great importance.

Among the measures of passive employment for Russia, forced vacations are more relevant, which will coincide with retraining, for example. In addition, vocational training or retraining must be combined with the receipt of an allowance.

  • Recruitment and selection, Labor market

Keywords:

1 -1

You always want to make the right decision in order to subsequently find yourself in the labor market without any problems. Moreover, you need to think strategically for several years ahead, because it takes time to get an education, change qualifications and acquire new skills.

The biggest difficulties arise if a person has no personal preferences. In such situations, it is customary to focus on market conditions, which is not entirely true. After all, work should be fun.

Popular and always needed specialties

There are professions that are in demand regardless of the historical period, fashion and other factors. These are the types of activities that help to realize the social function of the state. These positions include:

  • doctors and medical workers;
  • pharmacists;
  • teachers and lecturers;
  • firefighters;
  • policemen;
  • workers employed in the sphere of housing and communal services.

The most demanded professions are not always highly paid. In recent years, government policy has been structured in such a way that people employed in these areas receive a decent income. Having made a choice in favor of such professions, there is no doubt that you will find an application in the labor market.

Latest trends

In order to make a decision about joining a profession, you can study the results of labor market research. Sociological data show that the TOP options among the vacancies posted by the employer include the following specialties:

  • Engineers and specialists in technical professions, which are usually needed for companies and organizations engaged in construction, high technology industries, and in industry. In recent years, they are the highest paid.
  • IT-specialists whose knowledge is needed both for organizing the work of offices, and for building an Internet business, and for promoting a company.
  • Ecologists and specialists in the field of labor protection. From the side of the state, the requirements for conducting activities that may cause potential harm to the environment or the health of workers are increasing. In order not to pay huge fines and build the right internal activities, organizations need appropriate specialists. It is useful to know which enterprises in the city have already attracted young employees in order to understand whether it is worth retraining.
  • Teachers and kindergarten teachers. Basically, the low demand from applicants for these positions is associated with low wages. But few people know that when building a career in this system, you can quickly move to a new level. This will allow you to get more than, for example, in trade. If we recall the pleasant bonus from the legislation on almost two months of paid annual leave, it becomes clear why such positions are increasingly in demand among young people.
  • Medical staff. These are far from highly paid positions, but they are necessary for organizing the treatment process. Such positions are suitable for those who have no education, who want to have social guarantees and do good deeds to a certain extent.
  • Chemists and physicists who can perform applied or fundamental tasks. Which one to choose, everyone decides for himself. After all, fundamental research leads to the acquisition of completely new knowledge, which is then in demand in many areas of activity. Having such experience, a specialist will easily find a job in the market.
  • Logisticians who allow you to optimize storage space, transportation of goods and goods, so that the organization receives a higher profitability of its activities.

Jobs that are in danger of disappearing

Specialists involved in the study of the processes of the personnel market are making forecasts regarding which professions may soon disappear altogether. Even from the job classifier.

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives in its forecasts sees no point in focusing on such positions:

  • Notaries, since most of the processes are transferred to online mode, and the distribution of digital signatures makes their activities irrelevant.
  • Postmen, who can be partially replaced by courier services. It is customary to write letters more via the Internet, so soon this profession will only be read or heard on excursions.
  • Cashiers. It is believed that their work functions will be able to perform computer systems, and the transition to bank cards will make it possible to do without such specialists. But you need to understand that this will not happen soon. After all, the proportion of those who like to pay in cash is still too high.
  • Printers and printers. The most unique specialists in the field of printing are forced to retrain due to the low demand for printed publications. Advances in technology make it possible to manufacture products with fewer employees. The abundance of online books has also led to the fact that highly paid specialists in the past are forced to find other uses for their strengths.
  • Travel agents also entered the TOP of irrelevant professions in the future. It is believed that with the help of online booking systems, customers will be able to work directly with tour operators or with market participants in the hospitality industry. The need for intermediaries will disappear by itself.

Who is needed in the future?

Seeing the future is not as difficult as it seems. Quite easily, specialists conducting research on employment issues can determine where the departure of personnel due to age will occur, create dependencies between the development of the economy and the market. What professions will be popular in five or ten years?

The most non-standard and popular among them:

  • Urbanists. These are specialists who are busy creating the urban look and infrastructure.
  • Biotechnologists and bioengineers who will be responsible for finding means to prolong life, remove harmful substances from the body, rejuvenate, fight cancer, etc.
  • Engineers in the field of non-traditional energy. There will be fewer and fewer sources of energy, and in order to save humanity, you need to learn how to use alternatives.
  • Workers in the security sector, including information. The availability of digital data and the ease of penetrating foreign territory increase the demand for countermeasures. Such specialists will find application both in the field of company security, and in the development of household appliances and protection schemes.

The TOP of those who will find a use for themselves in the future also includes:

  • 3d designers;
  • marketing and promotion specialists;
  • content managers;
  • Internet developers and programmers;
  • specialists in the food industry;
  • pharmacists;
  • engineers;
  • nanotechnologies;
  • operators of automated devices, including cleaning of premises.

Where can I get information about the right specialists?

To independently conduct market research and find a job to your liking, you can use the following tools:

  • get acquainted with materials that are provided in the public domain by recruitment agencies or magazines and websites dedicated to personnel;
  • study the reports of the ministries entrusted with the functions of employment;
  • look for ratings of competitions for specialties among applicants to universities and colleges, as well as their reports on the employment of graduates;
  • analyze databases of vacancies on job portals or employment centers;
  • attend industry conferences, where they necessarily talk about the problems of personnel shortages, if any.

It must be remembered that popular and demanded vacancies may not always be of interest to a particular person. It's always better to choose what you like to do. Otherwise, psychological discomfort will arise and it will not work to stay in a working position.

It is useful to listen to the opinion of other people employed in some area, or to the older generation. Their wisdom and experience are the most invaluable sources of knowledge for decision making.

What you need to consider in order not to miscalculate with the choice of specialty?

Regardless of what forecasts are made for the future, a person must understand that people with certain qualities can always find a use in the labor market. Their development must be given attention. Then you can easily find a job.

The following employees are in demand among employers:

  • sociable;
  • able to work independently and in a team;
  • initiative;
  • honest;
  • responsible;
  • executive;
  • creative;
  • ready for change;
  • striving to achieve results;
  • thinking and analyzing.

People with such qualities will be able to stand out and start career growth in companies. It is not necessary to have all the characteristics from the list. The choice depends on the area in which it is supposed to continue growth and development.

There is no need to be afraid that the choice of the training program will be made incorrectly. Indeed, often people cannot find a job in their specialty, because they do not look for it or do it wrong. In any profession, you can become an excellent specialist. Then the largest companies will "hunt" for such an employee.

Also, do not think too much about the prestige of the position. After all, even working specialties allow you to earn income, sometimes much more than the position of an official in the local government system.

The labor market, like many other markets, is transforming, following the development of technology and changes in various fields of activity. At the moment, the drivers of this transformation are, of course, nanotechnology, robotics, IT and engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, architecture, biotechnology, energy, genetics and medicine. Moreover, they will not develop independently, but complement each other. It is to changes in these areas that the labor market will respond immediately in the near future. The usual office and administrative staff will gradually give way to new professions. And this is a natural development for which we need to prepare now. Engage in training and development of their skills, monitor changes in their profession, adapting to new market trends.

These skills, according to our results, in relation to any of the professions of the future should be programming, modeling, computational thinking, critical thinking, creativity, people management, communication skills, customer focus, negotiation skills, cognitive thinking, multilevel problem solving skills. That is, in addition to technical skills, it will be necessary to have skills related to the work of the brain and the ability to communicate with people.

In the course of our study, we identified those promising professions and professions of the future, which, in our opinion, will become massive in the next 10 years. Our list includes:

  • Bioengineer- a specialist engaged in the study and change of the properties of a living organism (as well as the development of new ones) using engineering principles in biology and medicine to solve various medical problems and protect health.
  • - a specialist in the creation, implementation and planting of systems powered by solar and wind energy.
  • Smart environment designer- a specialist in creating technologies for rooms that respond to the actions of their users.
  • Robotics Specialist(including medical) - a specialist in the creation and maintenance of robots for various industries, as well as various automated technical systems.
  • - a specialist involved in supporting infrastructure / services and creating protective systems, responsible for the performance, improvement, modernization, security.
  • Alternative energy specialist- a specialist engaged in the search and use of alternative non-traditional energy sources.
  • Psychologist / neuropsychologist- a specialist whose work is at the intersection of psychology and neuroscience. He studies the connection between the structure and principles of the functioning of the brain with mental processes and human behavior.
  • bioinformatician- a specialist engaged in the study and analysis of data in biology (including molecular) and pharmacology using computer programs, developing new programs for the analysis of biological data.
  • Programmer / developer (various profiles)- a specialist engaged in the study and development of various algorithms based on various calculations.
  • Design engineer (various profiles)- a specialist engaged in the development of various construction (water supply, sewerage, electricity, telephone and Internet cables, ventilation and air conditioning, fire safety) and aircraft systems.
  • 3D printing engineer- a specialist in three-dimensional design using mathematical and creative abilities.
  • Genetic engineering specialist- a specialist who studies and changes the properties of a living organism (as well as the development of new ones) at the level of their genes.
  • - A specialist in the creation of virtual reality.
  • - a specialist in designing solutions that allow you to "live" in virtual reality.
  • Biopharmacologist- Specialist in the creation of new biological products.

Of course, it is almost impossible to completely predict the professions of the future, and the existing applicants for getting into this list are single professions.

This list can be continued, fantasizing and inventing new professions, but it is the ones listed above that fit all the trends that are now observed in the world.

Many experts with whom we managed to talk also note the influence of the West on the formation of the Russian labor market. In their opinion, those professions that exist or are just emerging in America, with a high degree of probability, will be popular in Russia in 5-10 years.

Research Methodology

Various organizations and media have already published many different ratings and "lists of" professions of the future ". In order not to repeat ourselves and not to compile a similar list, we decided to give our expert assessment and validate candidate positions for getting into these ratings.

To do this, we analyzed 13 different lists and ratings dedicated to promising professions and professions of the future, published over the past three years (6 English-language and 7 Russian-language sources).

At the first stage, we conducted a content analysis, analyzing more than 750 professions that were mentioned in these lists. We removed duplicate positions, and then counted the number of mentions of each profession, thus obtaining a consolidated rating of the professions of the future.

From the final list of professions, in which about 350 items remained, 4 groups were conditionally distinguished based on the rating and expertise:

  • “Old-timer professions” (moderate demand for specialists, but deformation by 2020-2025 and disappearance in our usual form) - they accounted for 26% of existing professions.
  • "Demanded professions" (high demand now and for another 2-3 years, moderate demand will remain until 2025) - 30%.
  • "Promising professions" (high demand for them will appear in 2020-2023) - 25%.
  • "Professions of the future" (high demand will appear after 2024-2025) - 19%.

To the group "Old Professions" We got such familiar positions as designers, environmentalists, accountants, financiers, police officers, marketers, economists, cosmetologists, technicians, auditors, lawyers, nurses, nurses, etc.

Listed "Demanded professions" turned out to be information systems architects, business analysts, HR specialists, mobile application developers, engineers of various profiles, dentists, analysts, programmers, project managers, game developers, Big data specialists, testers, technicians, electricians, etc.

In a group "Perspective Professions" we identified 15 professions, and in the group "Professions of the Future"- 20 professions that most often met in the composite rating of professions and presented them for evaluation to the members of the HeadHunter League of HR Experts. As a result, 54 interviews were conducted (see Note), in which the experts assessed how much they agree that the listed professions are on the lists, gave their arguments on this matter, and also offered their own options for “demanded professions” and “professions future."

In addition, we checked the same lists of professions that were submitted for assessment by experts against the database of vacancies and resumes from HeadHunter to see if there were any vacancies or resumes with similar titles in the last two years. Thus, we correlated expert assessments with the real situation on the Russian labor market.

Research results

In the “Promising Professions” and “Professions of the Future” groups, the leaders in terms of the number of mentions in existing lists and ratings were the following positions:

Promising professionsProfessions of the future
Urbanistvirtual reality architect
city farmerSpace tourism manager
Manager of crowdfunding and crowdinvesting platformsMedical Robotics Specialist
Bioengineerbioinformatician
Composite engineervirtual reality designer
Drone operatorCyber Security Specialist
Renewable Energy EngineerRobotics Specialist

To the first group for expert evaluation, we added 8 more positions, which also met in the ratings. It is a wearable energy designer, IT evangelist, smart environment designer, 3D ink developer, digital currency advisor, migrant onboarding specialist, 3D printing engineer and personal profile security consultant.

13 more professions were added to the second group: emotion designer, living systems architect, bioethicist, augmented reality engineer, microorganism designer, cyber investigator, neuropsychologist, alternative energy specialist, agroinformatician / agrocyberneticist, metal skin consultant, unmanned aircraft interface designer, intelligent travel systems and digital addiction treatment specialist.

According to the results of the interview It turned out that by no means all leading professions are assessed by experts as really promising professions or professions of the future.

Positively rated as really promising professions such as 3D printing engineer, bioengineer, renewable energy engineer, smart environment designer. More than 70% of experts noted that they agree that these are promising professions.

The experts who agreed with 3D Printing Engineer, Renewable Energy Engineer, Bioengineer, Smart Environment Designer on the list of professions commented:

  • Alla Gaidukova, Human Resources Manager at Prestige-Internet (Voronezh): “Because at present, 3D graphics, population movement and the use of electronic media and programs are gaining great development.”
  • Alla Koshelkova, Head of Recruitment Department, Reforming Center LLC (Tolyatti): “Some technologies are currently developing at a rapid pace, for example, 3D printing. Also, the need for specialists is dictated by the growth in electricity consumption.”
  • Irina Preobrazhenskaya, HR Director of a financial organization (St. Petersburg): “All professions are related to Digital. I believe this is our future." With the advent of the Digital era and, accordingly, with the demand for professions in this area, I also agree Alina Zlobina, Head of HR Department, ANM-group (Volgograd).
  • Veronika Eprikova, HR Director of OOO PO Aquamash (Volgograd): “Because some of these areas are actively developing and there is a high probability of their introduction into the main areas of life. Even if it takes a little longer."
  • Artem Smolyanoy, HR Director, IBS Platformix (Moscow): “It is already clear that these professions are present in the market in one form or another. They have not yet fully taken shape, but some issues that can be attributed to the professional areas I have noted are already being dealt with by specialists from related areas. He also noted that “medical specialists who will be involved in the implantation of various devices into the human body may be in demand. And not only medical devices, but also gadgets.”
  • Konstantin Kulikov, founder of the company "LLC "Kadrovy Portal"" (Volgograd region): "The noted professions are de facto present on the market now. Further development awaits.”
  • Sergei Novosad, Director of Human Resources at PJSC Razgulay Group (Moscow), simply noted that promising professions are beta analysts, robotics, psychotherapists, and IT specialists.
  • Natalya Samorukova, a recruitment specialist at TSK Avtomobilny (Barnaul), believes that all professions related to the IT environment will be in demand.
  • Anastasia Zheludkova(Moscow) believes that in 3-7 years virtual reality developers, bioengineers, nanorobot engineers will be in demand. About the same opinion Veronika Eprikova, HR Director of LLC PO Aquamash (Volgograd), adding that engineering and bioengineering professions will be in demand.

With perspective or the “future” of professions such as migrant adaptation specialist, wearable energy designer, urban farmer, urbanist, IT evangelist, our experts disagreed. Moreover, the IT evangelist and the city farmer look like the biggest outsiders here, because. every third expert interviewed noted that he did not agree with the presence of these positions in the promising category.

The experts who disagreed consider the professions of an urbanist, urban farmer, IT evangelist to be promising, argue their position as follows:

  • Alla Gaidukova, HR manager at Prestige-Internet (Voronezh): “I don’t understand where such specialists would be useful.”
  • Alla Koshelkova, head of the recruitment department, Reforming Center LLC (Tolyatti): “The list included specialists related to individual needs, not mass ones. Most likely, they will not receive mass distribution.
  • Sergey Stepanov, HR Director of EDI-Sphere Company (Moscow): "It is not clear what these professions are (I have not met them yet)."

But to a personal profile security consultant, digital currency advisor, 3D ink developer and compositing engineer treated with caution. For example, 33% of experts noted that a digital currency adviser is still an incomprehensible position for them. 31% of those who rated the personal profile security consultant and the 3D ink developer in the same way.

To "professions of the future" almost all experts carried specialists in robotics, cybersecurity, alternative energy and psychologists, including neuropsychologists. They also believe in bioinformaticians, virtual reality designers and architects, and various planners.

The experts who agreed with the presence in the list of "professions of the future" specialists in robotics, cybersecurity, alternative energy, neuropsychologist, bioinformatics, commented on this as follows:

  • Alla Gaidukova, Human Resources Manager at Prestige-Internet (Voronezh): "I believe that specialists will be useful in the development of areas in the future - biotechnology, cybernetics."
  • Alla Koshelkova, head of the recruitment department, Reforming Center LLC (Togliatti): “Everything related to information development tends to give birth to new professions.”
  • Artem Smolyanoy, HR Director, IBS Platformix (Moscow): “It is obvious that today there are people who are involved in both cybersecurity and designing drones, etc. Yes, this has not yet been formalized into separate professions, and specialists from similar fields are dealing with these issues, but since the demand for such goods and services will obviously grow, registration into a separate profession is not far off.”
  • Elena Tolstykh, HR Director of Trio Group LLC (Lipetsk region): “I see the real development of technologies in this area and their application in Russia.”
  • Tatyana Mukhametshina, head of the HR department of the SL Clinic (Kazan): “I mainly noted the specialists of alternative reality. In my opinion, this direction will be actively developed”.

But the position of a space tourism manager, popular in many ratings, according to representatives of the HR industry, will not become the profession of the future. Half of the experts on the list do not agree with this profession. There are also doubts about emotion designers, bioethicists, microorganism designers. The remaining positions received a neutral assessment, i.e. their presence in the ranking of professions of the future has not been confirmed or refuted.

The experts who disagreed consider space tourism manager, emotion designer, metallic skin consultant as "professions of the future":

  • Alla Koshelkova, Head of the Recruitment Department, Reforming Center LLC (Togliatti): “Too narrow focus of specialists in areas that have not yet become widespread.”
  • Dmitry Bekhterev, founder of the company "Always Is!" (Nizhny Novgorod), simply said that "these professions are fantastic."
  • Elena Tolstykh, HR Director of Trio Group LLC (Lipetsk Region): “I believe that the professions I have noted will not be in demand in Russian companies due to the catastrophic lag in the development of Russian technologies and systems of organization (management) in business.”
  • Alexandra Yakovleva, Tranio Human Resources Manager: "There will be no mass space tourism in the next 15 years."

An analysis of the hh.ru database and the site for vacancies or resumes over the past 2 years showed that only 11 positions can boast of having at least 1 vacancy. At the same time, for some of those professions, whose prospects were not highly evaluated by experts, there were several resumes.

The question "Where to go to study?" stands before graduates sharply: often, when they enter an educational institution, they do not fully understand what kind of profession they choose. This misunderstanding may persist until graduation.

Unlike Russian schools, students abroad are not only prepared for admission to specific universities, but also carry out serious work on career guidance, identifying their talents and inclinations. Students from foreign schools study a wide range of subjects: from classical civilization and psychology to robotics and the latest business technologies. They can practice rowing or debating, play chess or attend a Shakespeare club.

To find a secondary school abroad for your child, please contact IQ Consultancy. We will help you choose the educational institution that suits you, as well as prepare the child in language and subjects so that he feels comfortable from the very beginning of education.

The older the students get, the more disciplines they try. This means that the greater the choice - what they are interested in as a future profession, what they have inclinations for. As a result, by the age of 16, 90% of foreign students already know who they want to become.
In addition, career consultants work with students in secondary schools in Europe and America. Also, educational institutions cooperate with large companies. Schoolchildren get the opportunity to work in starting positions during the holidays and set specific career goals for themselves.

But it is not enough to enter an interesting specialty - it is important to understand how and where to apply the acquired knowledge. Often, Russian graduates with deep fundamental knowledge do not have enough practice. This leads to the fact that more than half of our graduates by the end of their studies lose interest in learning and work outside their specialty.

If you have already graduated from a Russian university, but want to change your specialty or get a more modern education in your field, consider entering a foreign university. You can get a bachelor's degree in a new field, continue your specialized studies in a master's program, or take intensive professional courses in your specialty. Learn more from our consultants.

Foreign universities offer up-to-date knowledge and develop practical skills of students. Most higher education institutions are also research centers with their own laboratories, where students work on their projects and participate in the development of large companies.

Studying at a foreign university makes it possible to stay in another country (for example, Canada has soft immigration conditions for young professionals) and build a career at the world level. For those who do not want to leave their country forever, studying at a foreign university is an excellent experience and an important advantage for employment in Russia, especially since many foreign universities teach narrow specialties that are not yet available in Russian universities.
