"Rainbow" corresponds to the principle of developing education: it combines the principles of scientific validity and practical applicability; meets the criterion of completeness, allowing to solve the set tasks and achieve the set goals on a reasonable minimum necessary material, preventing children from being overloaded; ensures the unity of the educational and teaching goals and objectives of the education of preschoolers and is built taking into account the principle of integration of educational areas.
"Rainbow" is the only program for preschool educational institutions that has passed a full pilot test in 10 regions of Russia for 6 years and an independent examination of the commission of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, following which the program was recommended for mass implementation.

METHODOLOGICAL BASIS OF THE PROGRAM The program is a modern integrative one that implements an activity approach to the development of the child and a cultural approach to the selection of the content of education. Program: Corresponds to the principle of developmental education, the purpose of which is the development of the child; Combines the principles of scientific validity and practical applicability, is based on the basic provisions of developmental psychology and preschool pedagogy; Complies with the criterion of completeness, allowing to solve the set goals and objectives on a reasonable minimum necessary and sufficient material; preventing children from being overwhelmed; It ensures the unity of the educational, developmental and teaching goals and objectives of the education of preschoolers and is built taking into account the principle of integrating educational areas in accordance with the age capabilities and characteristics of children, as well as the specifics of these areas. Organization of the life of the children's community. The central idea of the Russian psychological school is the idea of the creative nature of development. The program considers the child as a subject of individual development, actively appropriating culture. From these positions, the directions and boundaries of the pedagogical influence of an adult are determined. Implementing the principle of developmental education, the program's team of authors stands in the position of promoting the mental development of the child, and not simply taking into account his age characteristics. Game activity is the leading activity of a preschool child; learning activities, which becomes the leading activity of a child of primary school age, its prerequisite is formed at preschool age. The novelty of the program lies in the fact that, as a special goal, the goal of maintaining children's basic motivations is set: - knowledge, - communication, - creation, - formation of learning motivation (senior preschool age).
The total amount of the program is calculated in accordance with the age of the children, the main directions of their development and includes the time allotted for: Educational activities carried out in the process of organizing various types of children's activities (playing, communicative, musical and artistic, reading); Educational activities carried out during regime moments; Independent activity of children: Interaction with families of pupils.
