So, offhand, it’s quite difficult to say. Let's see what daily revenue should be. 280,000 USD divide by 26 working days (Sundays are not counted), we get approximately 11,000 USD. per day or approximately 308,000 rubles. Not a weak trade turnover, to be honest.

Again. We want to earn 1,000,000 in a year. We take the profitability of our business as 30% of turnover. We find that every day we must receive $11,000 in revenue to the cash register.

What does this amount give us? A lot of things. The principle is simple, in order to get $11,000 at the end of the working day, we need to sell a certain volume of goods or services at a certain price. You can sell lots and lots of office supplies or 30 times fewer computers.

You can immediately assume that $100 is something like computer consumables. 1000 dollars, it's more like a tourist business. This is all as they say “finger in the sky”, but the idea works. Based on the estimated average purchase amount, we can understand what we are selling. More precisely, we have a lot of options to choose from - what we will sell to ensure daily revenue of $11,000. How to sell it is another question. This is already a business practice. We’ll look into some aspects a little further, but for now it’s more important for us to come up with ideas. Is the logic clear?

Let's think about the average purchase price of 100 USD. How many Clients must be served to receive $11,000 by the end of the day? 110 people. Not a little, let's say.

There are two options:

Let’s look at the “People come to you” option.

In order for 110 people to come to you, you need a room. Its size: If we have an 8-hour working day, then 13 people should come per hour. In half an hour there are 6-7 people. If we take into account that the purchase is not expensive, then each person spends about 20 minutes, let’s say. It turns out that in order to serve 13 clients per hour, you need to have 4 managers to work with clients. To make everyone comfortable, you need about 6-7 meters for each pair - manager - client. In total, we get a room measuring 24 square meters + 7 more for various needs, for a total of about 30 square meters. Let’s assume that the price of the product already includes the rental of premises, salaries for managers, at least some taxes, and various licenses, if they are needed.

But this is if you are selling something like a service. There is no need for a trading floor here. All you need is an office. Plus you still need to add some advertising costs. But this depends on the product and location. You can't calculate it exactly. We are pointing our finger at the sky :-).

So, if we work according to the “people come to us” scheme, then we end up with something like an office or store, where clients come and are served by 4 managers.
